Christmas Door-to-Door Caroling

The spirit of Christmas came alive in neighborhoods across the city as CMEC Church held its annual door-to-door caroling event from December 12 to 18. With joyful voices, festive cheer, and a heartfelt message of hope, members of the congregation visited homes to spread the true meaning of the season.Organized and led by the Church's youth team. The caroling team included children, youth, and adults who gathered each evening to sing traditional hymns and contemporary Christmas songs. Wearing warm smiles and seasonal attire, the group brought comfort and joy to dozens of households. Very Rev Prajeesh Mathew the vicar of CMEC Church, shared the vision behind the initiative: "Caroling is more than music — it’s ministry. We want to bring light into people’s lives, especially during times when many feel forgotten. This is a way for the church to be present, even outside our four walls."The week-long event concluded with a special prayer and blessing at each home, and many residents expressed their gratitude for the unexpected but welcome visit.
