Malankara Evangelical Church of Kuwait celebrated its 8th annual Parish Day on Friday 26th May 2023. The long-awaited parish day celebration was attended by many people in large numbers. Kuwait Jacobite church priest Fr Stephen Neduvakkattu was the chief guest at the event. The event commenced with an opening prayer by Very Rev Prajeesh Mathew. Bible reading was done by Sister Prassana Chandran and Lilly Christopher. Welcome speech was said by Vice President Jose Thomas followed by the reading of the Church report for the year 2022-2023 was read by Secretary Mridun George . Very Rev Prajeesh Mathew delivered presidential address and spoke to the church regarding the Church’s journey down the years on how much the church has been successful in impacting numerous people’s lives by following the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The official website inauguration of Malankara Evangelical Church was done by Fr Stephen of the Jacobite Church. Rev Stephen told the guest speech of Hope on following Jesus Christ. The first session of the event concluded with a special vote of thanks from Ladies Secretary Jincy Joseph. Later on, the second session started with various church members showcasing their talents by singing individual songs and group songs. From the start to the end of the parish day celebration, Secretary Mridun George anchored the program and told the vote of thanks. The church celebration concluded with Prayer and benediction by Very Rev Prajeesh Mathew. Immense efforts and hard work was done by the office bearers of the church due to which parish day celebration was a great success by the Grace of Jesus Christ our almighty God. The following members were on the lead as volunteers Vice President Jose Thomas, Secretary Mridun George, Joint Secretary Nanda Kumar, Treasurer Ragil Raj, Youth Secretary Sonet Justin, Ladies Secretary Jincy Joseph, Media Coordinator Jaswin PC, Committee members Johnson Mathew , Pressana Chandran, and Layman Jacob Shaji coordinated the parish day celebration.
